# Tessera Analytics > Hyperliquid perp market data as an API — 1-minute OHLCV enriched with order flow, hourly funding, and hourly positioning, downloadable as Parquet over REST, plus a hosted MCP server that answers cross-sectional questions about the whole perp universe on complete days or completed hours. REST access is keyed by an API key (`Authorization: Bearer `, created free at https://tesseralytics.dev/signup). A free key reaches `gold_ohlcv_1m` for BTC, ETH, SOL and HYPE over the trailing month, unlimited downloads. The MCP intelligence layer is scoped separately: a free key ranks every market (HIP-3 included) over the trailing 7 days at 20 tool calls a day. Pro ($29/month) removes every limit — all three datasets, every market, the full history, and uncapped MCP calls. Closed history is also sold one-off with no subscription: https://tesseralytics.dev/pricing lists three bundles — Majors ($19), the `xyz` HIP-3 deployer ($24) and All Markets ($29) — each the closed months of all three datasets, frozen at purchase, perpetual on the account and inherited by every key on it. A bundle grants no MCP entitlement. `https://tesseralytics.dev/v1/bundles` returns every bundle's price, month ceiling, partition counts and per-dataset coverage as JSON, with no key. ## Overview - [Hyperliquid intelligence, built for trading agents.](/index.md) (~1,682 tokens): Cross-sectional Hyperliquid intelligence for trading agents: MCP tools for funding divergence, percentile screens and crowded positioning, plus order-flow-enriched Parquet over a REST API. ## Datasets - [Every dataset, column by column](/datasets.md) (~577 tokens): Tessera's data catalog: order-flow OHLCV, funding & positioning data built from raw Hyperliquid DEX trades. - [Order-flow OHLCV (1-minute)](/datasets/gold_ohlcv_1m.md) (~1,341 tokens): 1-minute Hyperliquid OHLCV candles enriched with order flow — volume at bid versus ask, CVD, fees and realized PnL — downloadable as Parquet. - [Funding rates (hourly)](/datasets/gold_funding_1h.md) (~815 tokens): Hourly Hyperliquid funding-rate data per coin — the current rate, an annualized view, and a running cumulative total that stitches cleanly across months. - [Positioning & flow (hourly)](/datasets/gold_positioning_1h.md) (~2,303 tokens): Hourly Hyperliquid open interest and positioning — long-vs-short skew, per-side concentration, whale net position, and what changed since the last hour. ## Intelligence layer (MCP) - [The Hyperliquid MCP server for cross-sectional market intelligence](/mcp-server.md) (~3,313 tokens): Connect Claude or any MCP client to one endpoint: nine tools that rank the Hyperliquid cross-section at daily or completed-hour grain, screen on several conditions, measure funding divergence, pull per-coin series and read the live market. ## REST API - [Hyperliquid API reference](/api-docs.md) (~287 tokens): Interactive reference for the Tessera Hyperliquid API, generated from the live OpenAPI schema. Use it with your API key, or install the official Python client: pip install tessera-api. ## Plans and answers - [Hyperliquid data pricing — subscribe for freshness, or buy the history once](/pricing.md) (~1,634 tokens): Start free with Hyperliquid minute OHLCV for BTC, ETH, SOL & HYPE. Pro ($29/mo) unlocks every dataset and market — or buy closed history once, from $19. - [Frequently asked questions](/faq.md) (~1,953 tokens): FAQs about Tessera: how the Hyperliquid datasets are built, the data caveats, plans and billing, and how to use the API. ## Client libraries - [Query Hyperliquid data in your language](/sdks.md) (~1,553 tokens): Query Hyperliquid datasets from Python or Rust. pip install tessera-api streams Parquet straight into Polars, pandas or DuckDB; the Rust client does the same with sync and async clients. ## Blog - [Research notes and product updates](/blog.md) (~409 tokens): Research notes and product updates from Tessera Analytics — how we build Hyperliquid DEX datasets, what the data says, and how to use it. - [Forecasting Hyperliquid funding: a 10-minute tutorial](/blog/funding-forecast.md) (~1,049 tokens): Pull hourly Hyperliquid funding with the Python SDK, measure how sticky it is, and build the innovation series that actually carries the forecast. Requires a Pro API key. - [Best Hyperliquid data providers (2026)](/blog/hyperliquid-data-providers.md) (~1,534 tokens): Compare the seven Hyperliquid data providers — Tessera Analytics, L1 Ticks, 0xArchive, CoinGlass, Pinax, Moon Dev and FundingPulse — side by side, and find the right CoinGlass or L1 Ticks alternative for your workflow. - [Download Hyperliquid data to your local machine: a step-by-step tutorial](/blog/one-off-download-tutorial.md) (~1,303 tokens): Buy a one-off bundle, write a small Python tool with the SDK, run it with uvx, and persist data locally as Parquet or DuckDB. No subscription, no commitment — the data is yours. - [Smart money doesn't stay smart](/blog/wallet-behaviour.md) (~1,692 tokens): On a DEX every trade is signed by a wallet, so we can ask the obvious question: can you just copy the winners? We scored ~100,000 Hyperliquid wallets a month to find out — and the answer is a lesson in luck, skill and style. ## Legal - [Privacy Policy](/privacy.md) (~432 tokens): Tessera Analytics' privacy policy. - [Terms of Service](/terms.md) (~617 tokens): Tessera Analytics' terms of service. ## Optional - [Full documentation in one file](https://tesseralytics.dev/llms-full.txt): every page below, concatenated as markdown. - [OpenAPI description](https://tesseralytics.dev/v1/openapi.json): the REST API's machine-readable schema (public, no key). - [MCP endpoint](https://tesseralytics.dev/mcp): streamable HTTP, stateless; the tool list is discoverable over the protocol itself. - [API catalog](https://tesseralytics.dev/.well-known/api-catalog): RFC 9727 linkset pointing at the schema and docs. - [Agent permissions](https://tesseralytics.dev/agent-permissions.json): rate limits, public paths, preferred endpoints. - [Python client docs](https://tesseralytics.dev/python-client/): `tessera-api` on PyPI, with quickstart and reference. - [Rust client docs](https://tesseralytics.dev/rust-client/): the `tessera-api` crate on crates.io. - [Sitemap](https://tesseralytics.dev/sitemap.xml): every crawlable page.
